Extended Warranties offer customers risk-free or self-insured and self-managed programs.
To create a warranty program it is important to know as much about the products being sold, both historically and prospectively, from the cost of the product to the repairs and replacements made after the sale.
A manufacturer and dealer takes risk every time it sells a product - from reliability and dependability to product liability wherein a product causes harm to its user. With warranty parts, design and assembly can fail and cause collateral damage to parts near the failure. Many manufacturers see the risk inherent in selling their product yet fail to see the opportunity to use the inevitable manufacture errors as touch points for customer contact, as opportunities to achieve real customer satisfaction and a real ongoing relationship with the customer buying more parts and repair services and more equipment.
ADI offers customers risk-free or self-insured/managed extended warranty programs, the opportunity to develop a lasting relationship, understand the customers' long term needs and sell more products. ADI takes the process of collecting and tracking data into a manufacturing process of its own, creating knowledge of customers' buying choices, habits, and expectations of a manufacturer. Future demand can be determined from data turned into knowledge enabling manufacturers to plan for plant modernization and expansion, staff levels, JIT dynamics.
Within ADI extended warranty is viewed as the metric identifying the shortfall between the customers' expectation of the reliability and dependability of the product they purchased and the actual design, content and assembly performance. It is the elastic management tool driving customer satisfaction for the entire ownership experience.
ADI sells risk transfer and risk management along with training, administration and marketing support. Virtually any structure designed by a customer can be insured and administered. ADI works with its customers to create a strategy around warranty, the risk retained or transferred, the options given to the dealer distribution channel and the end consumer.
Branded Unique Programs are offered as Standard Warranty for the portion of product ownership that is guaranteed by the manufacturer and/or dealer and for gaps or shortfalls in the manufacturer reimbursement of repair claims (typically one year), Extended Warranty for the portion of product ownership that is guaranteed by the manufacturer and/or dealer for a multiple year period immediately following the expiration of the standard manufacturer warranty period (typically three to five years) and Service Contract Administration which includes the creation of contracts with appropriate options, pricing, registration process, claims adjusting and payment process and marketing materials necessary to sell service contracts.
Specifications of each and every model manufactured, costs of that equipment, repair history, manufacturing design changes, new model introductions, company philosophy are just a few of the many data elements that need to be collected and analyzed. Underwriters, actuaries, marketing experts review data, work with the client to create unique products and unique product delivery. Applications have been designed to gather necessary information with speed and minimum impact. These applications can be found on each product website page. The experts at ADI will aid in the process at every step, doing the advance preparation to make the experience valuable.
